Spread over the last couple of weeks I did some shopping. I bought some products I have wanted for a really long time and some things I really wanted to try out. Let’s get into it.
The first store I went to was The Body Shop. I was planning to pick up the Honey Bronzer in 01 Light Matte because I heard that this was a really nice bronzer for pale skin. I think it was around €15 but I’m not sure.
When I was checking out the rest of the store (This was actually the first time I ever went to The Body Shop) I saw their Tea Tree line. I saw that they had a BB Cream in this line. I’ve been on the lookout for quite some time for a good BB Cream because I don’t want to wear foundation all the time (Especially when I go to school) but I want to wear something on my skin so it looks a bit more even. I heard that Tee Three is very good against acne so I decided to try this one. They only had two shades and I picked shade 01 because I want to be able to wear this in winter as well as in summer. This BB Cream was €9 I think.
The reason I actually went into the city that day was for the Wycon store. I had never been there before and I wanted to check it out. They actually had a lot of nice stuff but I didn’t see something I really needed. I did pick up two lippencils because I actually need some good lip pencils. I have a few but they are either not very creamy or not very pigmented. I picked two basic nude shades so I can try them out. When I swatched them they seemed to be very creamy so I have high hopes. I got the shades 01 Pinkish Beige and 22 Pale Mauve. I think it’s a little bit weird that both have different packaging. They are the same kind of lip pencil and I bought them on the same day but the lettering on the pencils is different. The 01 pencil says Intense Lip Pencil and underneath 01 Pinkish Beige. The other one just says Matita Labbra and underneath 22 Malva Chiaro. I had to go to the Wycon website to look up the English name for that shade. I don’t know why this pencil just has the Italian names, that’s not very professional.
The next items I got when I was waiting for my tram. There was a Kruidvat next to the stop and I had to wait for ten minutes so I made the most of my time. I picked up the Freeman Polishing Charcoal + Black Sugar Gel Mask + Scrub. I have relatively clear skin, except for my chin and nose. The exfoliating masks I have in my collection I find to be too gentle for those areas. This mask is 175 mL so that’s a lot of product for only €3, 99. This mask smells really nice, it reminds me of a luxurious spa so that’s really nice.
The other product I picked up is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I’ve heard a lot of great stuff about this product. It’s a lot of people’s ride or die setting powder. Since I want to finish my H&M finishing powder I had an excuse to buy this one. I plan on keeping it sealed until the H&M one is finished. During the summer months my skin can get a bit oily in my t – zone so I want a mattifying powder with a little extra staying powder. On the other hand, in winter my skin is really dry so I rarely use setting powder. This powder will be my summer setting powder for sure. I paid €9,99 for this product.
The last items I picked up from Di after my exams were done to treat myself for my hard work. The first thing I picked up was the Garnier Natural Bronzer. It’s a fake tanning lotion that’s made from a natural component. I’m very fair and I never tan but this summer I wanted to have a little extra colour and not be so reflective. I never fake tan so this will be a whole new adventure for me. The lotion was €13,99.
The next item is the L’Oreéal Mega Volume Miss Baby Roll mascara. I bought this mascara for the name. I’m not opening this mascara until I finish one of my mascara’s that’s currently open but I wanted to have a back – up one. This mascara was €11,99.
I also bought the L’Oréal Lip Paint, the matte version in Off – White. This colour looked very beautiful and I heard that Jessica from JAMBeauty89 really liked this formula so I wanted to try it out. I love the packaging so that’s also a plus in my book. This lip product cost €9,99.
The last item I got is the Sleek Solstice highlighting palette. I’ve wanted this palette for a really long time now. It was always sold out and I always made up an excuse not to buy it but it kept on floating through my head. I finally decided to get it and my heart is so happy! This palette costs €13,99.
This is everything I bought lately. Keep in mind that this is over the span of the entire month and I had a big coupon code in Di. I’m very excited for all these products!
I’ll see you again and until then: enjoy every minute of life!
